ReplyDeleteI have a few of his books.
He will be missed.
The last time I saw him on a video, about six months ago, he didn't look well. He had the drawn look of someone in chronic pain. I've read his Blowback Trilogy in the past and his last book, "Dismantle the Empire", about a month ago.
ReplyDeleteSo smart, so lucid. I really felt like I'd lost a friend. I guess that happens when someone's writings make an impression on you, like his did.
I just posted a radio interview with Chalmers.

ReplyDeleteAfter one reads them a whole new light comes on.
I missed this altogether, I am very sorry to say. I am also a fan of his work, and many of my students loved his books and bought all of them. I use parts of each as assigned readings. So sorry that he has passed.
